3Storyline:
In Canada, the writer visited the Indian narrator Pi Patel and asks him to tell his life story. Pi tells the story of his childhood in Pondicherry, India, and the origin of his nickname. One day, his father, a zoo owner, explained that the community has supported the zoo and so he decided to move to Canada, where the animal is a family owned and sold. They play a Japanese freighter with animals and Out Of The Blue, is a storm, followed shipwrecking. Pi survives in lifeboat with a zebra, orangutan, hyena and Bengal tiger male nicknamed Richard Parker. They are floating in the Pacific Ocean, with aggressive hyena and Rickard Parker hungry. Pi must find a way to survive.
